Just some illustration project i have been working on :) thought i would share.
In other news I have been stalking Barcelona, secreting plush 3D graffiti in nooks and crannies in various Barrios. It's quite fun. It's part of a 3 city MissYucki street art invasion. Each of the monsters has a secret message attached to it, and if you find one you can keep it, play with it, or move it to a different location. It's all up to you. You can read about the project in the MissYucki news section, just click the picture below :)

Well you may wonder what I have been doing in Barcelona! After Japan, I really wanted to concentrate on my art and illustration as its something i can stay awake 24/7 for. really. I love to draw! So along with working for MissYucki's Wonder Chamber I have just finished up an illustration portfolio. At the moment i am working on illustrations for a Spanish children's book. The story is called "leo" and is about a little African boy, so its right up my alley. :o) It's quite alot of fun really!

| A trip to Every Cheese |

We took a Drive to Cadaques for Milica's birthday. After struggling to find our driving skillz and driving up some steps, Milos slowly began to figure out driving on the right (but oh so wrong) side of the street. After much screaming on my behalf when we seemed daringly close to that truck or that barrier or that side of the road, we found ourselves out in the Costa Brava.
On winding roads through landscapes reminiscent of rubble, we spotted the ocean. The blues, browns and scraggly bushes speak for themselves. I really enjoyed the washed out light that makes you drunk!
We arrived at Casa Dali and took a very odd and fun tour of his abode.
And then we explored a bit of the coast. A million purple jellyfish had been caught in a little cove, tentacles waving about and tendrils being all tendrilly. Look at this big fella!

just updated my links list..if anyone is interested. particularly interesting is the Wonder Cabinet, an idea, or thought close to my heart. Indeed, my MissYucki website is called: MissYucki's Wonder Chamber, so i was quite enamored to find this. I have been getting up later and later, and going to bed later and later! oh goodness, I have to break this habit sooner or later otherwise I will turn into a vampire! These long Spanish Afternoons have totally knocked out my normal rhythms.
I have also finally completed my online commercial illustration website...
do go have a look, it would make me happy :)
